Tonkatsu Mitsuya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Probably one of the best Tonkatsu I've had ever! Went here with a couple friends on a Sunday evening and it wasn't super busy. Almost everything you do is by yourself, from ordering off tablet, getting your own water (Which also includes hot and cold barley tea which was delicious) and even checking out can be done by yourself if you pay cash.

The Tonkatsu was thick, juicy and super tasty. The curry reminded me Abit like Gogo curry, very dark and rich. The shrimp tempura was very good as well. You do get free refills of rice and cabbage too! And the hot barley tea was such a since finish to get all that fried pork settled.

Such a nice place in a nice quiet part of town,...

Starter of squid with Pako batter- Was very nice and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside

The tonkatsu pork with egg and miso and green veg was good. The pork was initially quite porky but tasted better as it cooled down.

Also saw The katsu curry with rice and cabbage are huge portions.

Whiskey and soda was ok. Service was fast. The payment is by a machine...

We came for dinner and it was delicious. We ordered drinks and meals on the device. There’s a self serve water or barley tea station.

Both fried oysters and pork cutlets were delicious. Juicy inside and crispy outside. Just right. And soups were deep in flavor but not too salty at all. My husband really liked it and asked for second serve.

Staff were really friendly with a lot of smiles. Definitely on my come again...
