Don’t eat here. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had and I live in America, so that’s saying a lot.It also should be noted that this isn’t my first time visiting Japan.
I made a reservation for 9 p.m. at 8:55 p.m. It sprinkled for 2 minutes… I counted maybe 3 drops hitting my face before it stopped. When stepping into the restaurant I was excited to see that they had giant red umbrella’s in case the sprinkling started up again.
They said we couldn’t be seated outside due to the rain (at this point there was no rain and people were enjoying their food outside) I was sad by the news but still optimistic at this point because they were kind enough to sit us in a corner but it had a window we could see out of.
My optimism quickly faded after about 20 minutes into our dining experience. Our waitress takes our drink and appetizer order and I asked if it was okay to continue looking over the menu for our entree because the food doesn’t really have any really helpful descriptions and my boyfriend is allergic to fish. She said take your time and then brought us our appetizer and drinks quickly after. We were ready to order but she dropped off the plates so quickly that we didn’t get a chance to tell her. It should be noted she also didn’t ask us.
Though at this point this would be the last time we see our waitress. 10 minutes later the host comes up to remove the menu and doesn’t speak very good English. She was explaining that the dinner menu will no longer be available at 9:30 (it was 9:20). I apologized because I was unaware and asked if it would still be possible to order but it didn’t seem to click. So she took our menu and brought us the bar bites menu. I was disappointed because our waitress had told us to take our time and then never came back for our order and I had to rethink what I wanted. Though at this point the host nor the waitress ever came back for our order. The host came for our plates and the menu quickly without asking us what we wanted to eat and then no longer checked on us.
I waited with what little hope I had left for this place but after I saw them seating people outside to eat after we were turned down due to weather (the weather did not change at all) I was done. I had to go up to the desk just to get my check because we were being completely ignored.
I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life and all they had to say was “we are sorry and you know how it gets”. I could understand that except for the fact that there were several people on the wait staff with maybe 20 guests in total.
Unwelcoming, my appetizer was mediocre at best, and the drink wasn’t as exciting as some of the pictures I’ve seen. I’ve never cried at a restaurant before but that’s how uncomfortable I felt. I also was dressed to impress but I have a feeling I was being discriminated against. Probably why you see some 5 stars and some 1 stars on here.
Please don’t support such a horrible place, the view truly wasn’t worth the unwelcoming...

Longer review:
I've had my share of high end dining experiences, you get much more elsewhere. The big issue here is the customer service.
I came in on a holiday to treat myself to something nice (July 28, 2022) for lunch. I was hoping to sit outside in the shade. I asked my server (a tall, slender, non-japanese gentleman) if the area would stay shaded or if the sun would pull over and blast me with light. His response was "I don't know, but you can sit wherever you like." You'd think he might ask someone if he didn't know. The words themselves are fine, but I was a bit surprised at the "lack of care" in the exchange.
Without saying a word after I'd sat down, he passed me the menu (more or less right in front of my face) He then picked the napkin up off the table and passed it over to me in a "do something with this" sort of way. That didn't feel too polite. At this point I thought maybe I was being profiled for showing up in shorts and a t-shirt or something. Maybe I was just overthinking it
Then, he also didn't say a word to me when I went to order. Just standing there with his pen and pad. Two rooms has appetizer and main menu specials at lunch. He didn't explain either of those--just stood there quietly. I asked what the day's appetizer was myself. He answered. Then I paused so he could tell me about the main dish specials. He didn't take the cue...so I asked about that as well.
After others came in, I found that his atmosphere with others was equally brisk.
I've had other moderately okay experiences (Two Rooms never does amazing on customer service in my experience) here, mainly at night, but this time was really awful.
The salmon was good. They crisp the skin really nicely so you get lots of texture. It had a bit of a "burnt" flavor, but nothing overpowering. The plate was visually appealing. Other than a special puree, there were no sides so be sure to order something else here.
The shrimp appetizer was pretty straightforward. 3 cocktail shrimp and a nice dipping sauce. Again, not gonna fill anyone up and not AS high end as you'd expect--but it tasted fine.
A little over ¥3,000 after tax for that setup.
Be prepared to add-on if you come at lunch and want to fill up. I'd say around ¥4,500 to ¥5,000 for some of the add-ons (not including drinks).
If you're coming for a nice experience, or are bringing people to impress, I'd recommend somewhere else, at...
Read moreIf I could rate this place zero stars I would. I've never had a bad meal in Japan but this is not only bad. It was terrifyingly tasteless for what you are paying.
Firstly, the food is absolutely tasteless... I've never had such uninspiring flavours at a high end restaurant. We ordered the set menu which had 5 courses. The problem with simple dishes is the produce needs to be fresh in order to have flavour, and if you know Japanese seafood, fresh sashimi is flavourful. The trout with matcha powder on it tasted not only strange because of the combination but the texture of the fish didn't respond to anything like you would from a fish market when you bite into it.
Secondly, the portions were the size of a piece of sushi. These were the smallest portions I've ever had at a restaurant. A steak that is not expensive A5 Wagyu should be more than 100g serving, this fillet was just a bite sized piece.
Thirdly, we got in at 7pm, ordered at 720. Our first dish didn't come out until 8... Second course 830... Third, 9, these sushi sized courses were taking 30 minutes, worst of all everything came out cold... The only hot thing we were served was the hot tea at the end.
Finally, we just wanted to get out of this place as it was my last night in Tokyo and this place couldn't even do that right. It took an additional 10 minutes to process the payment.
Additionally thoughts, if you are here for a drink and a sunset view, yes your experience might be a positive one. If you're out at a work function yes your experience might be different, but don't come here for the food ever... Because I've had a better course selection and experience at Family mart and Lawson's and 7-eleven. At least you can get warm food there.
Service wise yes they were friendly staff but as I was watching how everything was functioning throughout the night, I understood why our food wasn't arriving on time. This place is as organised as Chinese driving manners.
Stay away from this place at all costs.. this was an unforgettable nightmare in Tokyo. Rest in peace ✌️
