Nestled in the stylish Aoyama district close to Omotesando, Kintan Yakiniku offers a compelling yakiniku experience that expertly balances quality and ambiance. During our visit, we opted for three distinct orders: the Weekday Lunch special, a Tongue Platter, and the Sukiyaki Yakiniku.

The Weekday Lunch special proved to be an excellent choice for a hearty and affordable meal, offering a variety of dishes that were both satisfying and well-portioned. The Tongue Platter was a standout, featuring exquisitely cooked slices of tongue that were tender and bursting with flavor, demonstrating the high quality of the meat Kintan is known for.

The Sukiyaki Yakiniku was particularly memorable. It included thinly sliced beef that we cooked ourselves at the table, dipped into a rich and sweet sukiyaki sauce, then paired with a raw egg yolk and fluffy rice. The combination of the hot, savory meat with the cool, creamy egg created a delightful contrast that enhanced the overall flavor.

The restaurant atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, ideal for enjoying a leisurely meal. While each dish stood out on its own, together they created a fulfilling and flavorful dining experience. The sauces, particularly with the sukiyaki, were perfectly balanced, adding depth and richness without overwhelming the natural tastes of the meats.

Kintan Yakiniku is definitely a go-to spot in Tokyo for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality yakiniku. Whether you’re there for a quick weekday lunch or a more leisurely meal, the restaurant delivers on both taste and service, making it a must-visit for locals and...

They don't actually have an English menu here, so it's pretty hard for us tourist to understand. When we first arrive we asked which are recommended, but they didn't know how to explain to us. We end up ordering what they offer which is a set menu, cost around 8000 yen. They said its for two people. So we decide to give it a try. Honestly it's not that good, you can pay less and get better meat. Trouble happen when we're about to pay, and we asked for the bill suddenly the bill show us around 18.000 yen. We're shocked, not because we can't afford it but we were told that 8000 was for two, turn out it was for one person. The waiter who was serving us we can understand his limited in English, told us it was for two. In the end they gave us extra discount. The service is quite slow too. I'm not against you who want to give it a try, but maybe there's better restaurant out there to try. Other than the food The place is nice, quite hidden and the ambience is good, somehow they allow customers smoking inside an air conditioned room. So the verdict is not worth it. But maybe...

This place is horrible in terms of services, we went to this place for my dog birthday. They requested to put the dog inside the bag but the dog came out so the stuff asked me to put him inside many times and tied to the chair but he kept comes out so I decided to leave the place and pay things that we ordered the things they started cooking. I asked other customer to check if its ok to show the dog and they said its ok but the stuff kept asking to tie to the chair and put the dog in the bag like neglecting animals. They came back and charged everything we ordered and saying we cant change but when I go to the kitchen with the stuff they are only cooking fries…. So I asked to change the bill and finally they changed. They kept lying to what they were doing to us so we had horrible dinner experience. We ended up going to other place near by and the stuff was so welcoming to dog and they treated my dog part of family. If you are dog lover dont go to this place. You'll have saddest experience. This place is saying dog friendly but ended up disappointing experience....

This was a lovely find for us. We decided to walk through the peaceful and beautiful back streets of Omotesando to Harajuku and came across this restaurant. It was peak lunch time, however, they were able to find us a table. The butcher sits right at the entrance of the restaurant and you get to see all the amazing meat and cuts! The beef was tender and delicious and there were really good lunch set options. This wasn’t the best wagyu i have had but it was pretty darn good. The restaurant is very spacious, which is also a plus. The lunch set meal also comes with desert, a huge portion of salad and soup and the quantity was more than enough for us to feel satiated. We also ordered the sirloin cut, which was really good too. Overall, i would recommend this place.

Came here for my birthday and ordered the signature course. Came with about 5 courses ranging from salads, to various cuts of meat and snow crab and wagyu risotto. The food was excellent but the vibes and service were even better. They played a lot of Sampha and it set the mood there. I would give the service 7 stars if I could. Our waitress, Miyako, was excellent. Very attentive and worked with us even though we spoke no Japanese. All in all, it made for an experience I’ll never forget.
