I recently visited this bar with a friend, hoping to grab a quick drink before an event. The experience was a bit more of an adventure than I anticipated, mainly because of the construction in the area. We ended up circling the block a few times before realizing how hidden the entrance was. It wasn’t immediately obvious, and after some frustration and a quick peek at reviews, we had to ask a store clerk for directions. He pointed us to the door with ease, suggesting this might be a “hidden” speakeasy vibe, though it was more of a maze for first-timers.
Once inside, the place opens up to a dark, cozy space that leads to a second door. Beyond that, the bar completely transforms into a lush, tropical paradise, with a stunning wall of plants. The vibe is definitely serene and beautiful, though it was unexpectedly empty during our visit—perhaps we arrived too early in the evening.
As for the drinks, I was a bit let down. The cocktail menu was sparse, and the drinks didn’t offer much in terms of variety or description, making it hard to choose. For a place with such a lovely atmosphere, I was hoping for a more exciting drink selection. That said, the ambiance and decor are definitely worth experiencing. It’s still a nice spot for a quiet drink or two, especially if you’re in the area and want to enjoy a pleasant environment. Would I return? Probably, but I’d hope for a more exciting cocktail...

First, the vibes are so good. The minimalist decor and low lighting are soothing. The wall of living plants is one of the loveliest art installations I’ve seen. It really feels like a little oasis in the middle of Tokyo.
This is a cocktail lounge, so you won’t order dinner here but there are some lovely bites to enjoy with whatever you choose to drink. (Their cheese selection was outstanding!) They have regular and non-alcoholic cocktails, wines, etc.
The manager (not sure if he was owner but he was definitely running the place) is extremely cool. He took time to tell me about the art and checked in on me to make sure I was enjoying myself. (I was there alone). I was able to relax, unhurried, and unwind.
If you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle for a little while and want to enjoy some uplifting greenery in a sophisticated atmosphere, this is the...
Read moreThis used to be one of my my favourite bars, but something has happened since my last visit to take it off my list. Went there for pre dinner drinks on a Staurday night, and the place was unusually empty which I thought strange. We ordered four glasses of wine which then asked for the bill which totalled 11,550 Yen around 105 Usd which by any comparison is incredibly expensive. Looking at the bill I noticed there was an additional 1000Yen per person cover charge, an additional 10% service charge, then the usual 8% tax on top of that. The totals for the previous visits had been far less and had included some light snacks as well. So I can only assume that some misguided management "profit at all" cost initiative has occured in the interim which will see me avoiding this venue for the...
