Our last night in Japan we were in the Akhibara neighborhood and stopped by this little izakaya near our hotel. Their food options were a wide selection of a la carte kushikatsu and kushiyaki - skewered meats or vegetables that may be fried or grilled. We chose a variety of items like chicken skin, pork, crab, beef, and fish! I love the atmosphere of this place. It was a local hangout for people to go unwind after work. You could even smoke in the restaurant!! The service was great. The bartender knew we couldn’t speak English so he found an English menu and would help discern which skewer was which. Read moreOMG guys! This place on Akihabara is awesomely crazy. We just went in for a quick lunch and ended up amazed us so much!! I ordered the chicken and wife ordered the miso simmered mackerel. Guys! This food is awesome AF!! They have more but we only got in in time just foe the lunch menu set. The simmered mackerel has this simmered white carrot is soooo tasty!
You guys must try this when you’re around!! Both meal only costs ¥1980 with tax! We were both so so amazed by this 2 different dish.

Food overpriced and not to my liking , there were locals there who seemed to have a good time however I would not recommend it . -8 gyoza dumplings , mediocre , nothing special , highly overpriced 880 yen -forced mandatory 'appetizer' cover tax 330 yen - big no no -chikuwa - fish cake -- absolutely unedible 230 yen -chicken on a stick - yakitori - ok 250 yen -beer ok Total aprox 18 euro .
