One of the best experiences I have had in Disneyland, Tokyo (or better yet the whole of Japan) was in this restaurant... We had ordered food when I approached one of the staff (I believe her name was Watanabe or similar) and asked for an ice pack. Due to a tumour behind my neck I sometimes get really bad headaches and an ice pack is the only immediate remedy. She was kind, caring and friendly, very professionally asked if I had injured myself on a ride and I explained the situation.
She could easily have said they don't have an ice pack or she is too busy or similar. Instead she went away and very quickly came back with an ice pack she made from exiting kitchen items (a plastic bag, ice and water and a cloth). I cannot thank her enough for this extreme act of kindness especially when she could have easily said no. The food was great but what she did truly showcased the magic of Disneyland in a way no other ride or attraction can ever replicate. I am truly grateful and the experience was one of the most...
Read moreWe stopped by Center Street Coffeehouse at Tokyo Disneyland and had a mixed experience. The line was about 20 minutes, which isn’t terrible but still a bit annoying. Once we got in, we were happy to snag a big table to ourselves. The service was friendly, which is always a plus.
My son ordered the Baymax curry plate, and I went for the Baymax stew plate. Both dishes were definitely Instagrammable—super cute presentation. However, I wasn’t too impressed with the rest of the menu. It seems like a good spot for people with a sweet tooth who love sugary sodas.
Overall, it’s a nice place to escape the heat outside and chill for a bit. Despite the wait and the limited menu appeal, the friendly service and cool atmosphere made it a decent stop during...
Read moreBaymax is both cute and tasty! The curry was lot better than the one I tried in TDS Casbah food court. It’s pretty close to authentic Japanese curry which has a tinge on spiciness on the darker beef curry. What was interesting however was getting into the restaurant. I tried but failed to do an online booking, which is fine cos they allow walk-in. I queued for about 30 mins to get in. But when I’m in, I realised about 30% of the tables were not utilised. It’s either the people who booked didn’t turn up or they are just holding the queues. Either way, it’s not very friendly for foreigner patrons who can’t really access their...
