I had an absolutely incredible experience at this izakaya last night and cannot recommend it highly enough!

The highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the staff. Our server was not only incredibly attentive but also spoke fluent Mandarin, which made the entire experience so smooth and welcoming for our group. She went far beyond just taking our order; she chatted with us warmly, shared stories, and made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers.

The generosity was astounding! They surprised us with multiple complimentary dishes, including some delicious appetizers and desserts, and even free rounds of drinks. It was such a kind and unexpected touch that truly elevated our meal.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice during my my 5day stay in Yokohama, and both times were amazing. The lady owner is incredibly warm and welcoming—she even speaks a bit of Chinese, and often sits down and chats with me when it’s not the busy hours, which made me feel right at home. Each time I visited, she treated me with great kindness, offering complimentary snacks and pouring me some of the finest sake in Japan.

The food here is top-notch. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. I especially recommend the eel tempura—crispy on the outside, tender and rich on the inside. It’s an absolute must-try.
