This restaurant might look small from the outside but in reality it is massive. There are three levels with massive spaces in each of them. They have private dining rooms and function rooms upstairs. In my opinion although they serve Chinese food it has been modified to suit Japanese flavour profiles. It's less salty and on some occasion have different take to the dish. It is still cooked really well like for example the tripe was soft, the crispy noodle is salty and sweet and the asparagus still crunchy and garlicky. A little over priced though. The pork bun has a flavorful umami pork filling while the bun is soft and fluffy and has a great scent of the flour. Pretty good but I think 華正楼 pork bun is packed with more umami flavor and better taste to it.

Tried their Sesame Bun and I am glad I did, Bun was fluffy but lacks the fragrant flour taste, however the sesame filling was packed full of aromatic sesame flavor dancing in my mouth while the stickiness of sesame lingers on my tongue.
