I don’t know how sushi can get any better than this. Old school with each piece placed on the counter in front of you, you brush it with soy sauce and then eat with your hands washing your fingers inbetween each bite with the water stream below the counter top.
I had a lot of the more expensive pieces and ate for 2 people, it was very reasonably price all things considered.
People that don’t like it seem to have drunk too much and given very extreme reviews.
Everything about the experience was exactly what I wanted as a sushi loving foreigner visiting a sushi bar next to a fish market....

Read moreGreat spot for sushi, really nice chef putting in the effort to prepare perfectly seasoned fish with no gluten, so no soy sauce. Wish I could go back, but yokohama was a very brief stop. Very reasonably priced too, given the quality. There are a few options around. Don't be put off by the outside looks of the place - speaking as a tourist here - its all the more interesting once you get in.
