The perfect restaurant to immerse yourself in the history of this unique city and celebrate special occasions. The staffs were polite, incredibly friendly and catered to our requests in the most welcoming manner. The interiors were elegant and nostalgic, you feel relaxed the moment you stepped into the restaurant. We were wowed by the taste and presentation of each dish (we ordered their dinner course), the chefs obviously put immense efforts to ensure each dish is memorable and distinguished, they even went above and beyond to incorporate Japanese ingredients into classic French cooking. Our favourite was their grilled yellowtail, a semi-raw fish dish striking the perfect balance of the fish’s fattiness and the refreshing yuzu dressing. The portions were just right as well, we left the restaurant with a satisfied stomach and wonderful memories of a dining experience that I will not forget. We got the 6,000 yen per person meal which had the beef tongue (and apparently they’re known for this dish). They also serve very light and fluffy bread which you can use to mop up the sauce from the beef tongue dish. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it! Thankfully, I did get to take a picture of all the other courses.
