Read moreThis sushi restaurant specializes in serving traditional "Edo-mae sushi", and the chef has been trained at an old establishment dating back to the Meiji era (1868~1912). Read moreThis sushi place has such a cozy environment which is ran by an elderly couple. They have been serving since 1971 but you can still taste the freshness and authenticity of their sushi. The husband, 80 yrs old, makes the sushi while the wife, 79 yrs old, serves the customers. The couple were very friendly and welcoming. The husband talks a little bit of English so we were able to communicate with each other. Their menu only give options A, B, C or SP (special). We ordered the special set: ¥4 500 and it gives you a bit of everything such as salmon, shrimp, sea urchin, and etc. The sushi was delicious! The wasabi added more flavour! If you want to try a local restaurant in Yokohama City, I recommended to check out Saburo Sushi and experience it yourself! :) (side note: no rush and...
