On our trip to the Kyushu Region we were on a mission to have at least 2-3 matcha lattes a day. For our daytrip to yufuin, 5 toku was our first matcha of the day.
Matcha latte: I love how you have the option to add little packets of simple syrup OR sugar free syrup to your latte, because it is unsweetened. We tried both ways just so we can get the flavor profile of the matcha a lot better. From our understanding the matcha used was from Yame which checks out because it was minimal bitterness, high umami, high creaminess. I loved it.
