If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Kazakh dining experience in Almaty, Kausar Restaurant is the place to go! I've been here several times, and each visit has been fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing. We've tried the horse steak, pizza, shashlik, and fruit tea, and everything was delicious. The presentation of the food is also beautiful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The restaurant has plenty of seating, so it's easy to find a table, even during busy times. There's also ample parking available, which is a big plus. The only downside is that they sometimes run out of pilaf, which is a popular Kazakh dish. I've been there twice when they didn't have it, which was a bit disappointing. This was the second time I have been here. The first time, the service and food was superb. Am not sure why this second time, the experience is less than nice. My T bone steak was overdone and burnt .... Like the cook left it on the grill and forgot abt it. Photo of my overdone t bone steak below. I ate because I was hungry but the meat got too chewy to digest. We bought 2 steaks and they did not come with steak knives. It should be automatic should it not be. 1 litre jug of mojito came with no glasses. Then waitress brought only 2 glasses when we are 3 persons at our table. They also forgot about one of our orders. The food is delicious and beautiful. The furniture is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. They sell their own baked goods.

The service is weak - at lunchtime everyone is tired and unfriendly. The hostesses were not noticed. The waiter call buttons do not work, the waiter does not repeat the order, the bar menu was not given in advance.
