Pinta Bar&Grill — Restaurant in Almaty

My English colleague and I entered this establishment with the hope of a cold refreshing beer after a long day travelling. Unfortunately this simple request turned into a nightmare which still haunts my well travelled business partner. Upon entering the building we got shown a table and a rude podgy middle aged male pushed my friend to get past him as if he was a worthless sewer dweller. My friend obviously not happy with this horrendous lack of respect towards a guest was horrified and made it clear that this behavior is unacceptable in the civilized world. This caused a ruckus amongst the workers. We quickly left fearing that we would be in serious trouble due to the actions of the maniac! Please take caution when coming here as my friend has had counseling to overcome this...

An attempt at creating an 'American' style dining experience.. their draft beers were good, but the food wasn't so fresh; with such a massive menu and the speed at which the food was delivered, it definitely seemed like it was just pulled out of a freezer. Even the deep fried sulguni cheese was frozen in the middle.. the chicken had the strangest texture, also seemed like it was warmed up from frozen.. and my husbands steak did not sit well with him that evening, and continued to cause him discomfort the next day! Just don't bother. There are plenty of better restaurants in Almaty with FRESH food,...
