Bonds Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Nairobi

Terrible place, not sure how it gets such a high rating. The place is a mess, things all over the place; you arrive and they look weird to you like "what are you doing here" look, they don't even offer seats but pretty much look for yourself, offering a three-seats for a four-people group. Later the waitress has no idea how to treat people, brings one menu for 4, makes faces and don't even know what the menú is, or any dishes. We order two meats, never asked for how we wanted the meat cooked, and took ages. After over 40 minutes, they bring one dish wrong, two awful, overcooked and nasty pieces of meat (it seems they were seating there for ages) and the waitress still looks terrible to our table. Two of the staff members were argumentative and refused to honor what was agreed upon. They only followed through after we insisted on the matter. They could have been humble and apologetic knowing fully well that the mix up was on their end. This would have gone much better without the unnecessary attitude and petty staff gossip. The food was amazing though, little but amazing nonetheless. First impressions matter-It was our first time there but after our experience, none of us wanted to come back again. On the bright side, Fridah and some of the other ladies were amazing, she really did her job very well and it made the day much better...

Went there on Saturday, I didn't know Mpesa had problem I paid the first time I didn't get a confirmation message so I decided to checking my balance twice it remained the same not knowing it was hanging. I paid again I got a confirmation message that it has gone through then after 4 mins I received another message that I have paid again. I called the waiter and informed her, she called the manager only to be told they don't refund money immediately even after confirming from their side I have paid twice.
