I had an incredible dining experience at Hot Dishes Nairobi! I ordered the lamb chops, greens, and ugali, and every bite was packed with flavor. The food had that wonderful homemade quality, which made it all the more enjoyable.

I always prefer eating where the locals eat when traveling, and Hot Dishes did not disappoint. The casual vibe made it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were incredibly nice and added to the pleasant atmosphere. It was so good that I took a plate to go with the ugali and the take out was well packaged.

Hot dishes has never disappointed me whenever I look for a place where I can grab affordable bites and have a sitting with a friend or college. However, there are still things that to be fair they are beyond their control. For starters, the place is usually crowded and noisy. It's a good thing for the business but for all those seeking peace and quiet as you eat or catch up with a friend then I'd suggest another place. And because of this you'd notice that the service is somehow lagging at times. But if you don't mind the crowd and congestion, I'd definitely recommend this place for you. I love their fried fish the most. They bring it while sizzling. & I love their fresh juices, & cabbage. Everything I guess. Food is Quite affordable. Abit noisy and crowded(but not too loud to hinder communication/ conversations with your company) & sometimes you may have to share a table with a stranger as the restaurant is mostly full at lunch time to 6ish. but it's an awesome place when you find a corner spot if alone or with people you know. (that's if ur a snob😋) Waiters tho busy are upto the task and quick to spot new comers and serve them quickly....
