A big star for the service. It was great service. Very rare in these Nairobi streets. The space is small and a bit hidden in the Westgate. I had a long black (Elgon). I didn't enjoy this coffee as I found it too acidic. I was informed that I should try the drip version and that it would be a different experience, but am a bit hesitant. The other blend that I wanted to try, they only sell the beans. I am still open to try other blends, but will see. The prices are definitely on the higher side if you compare with the serving you get. They do have none dairy options but they are on the higher side especially if you do the milk coffee ratio. They have a very limited snack menu. This is clearly a purely coffee place. If you have a deep maybe disfunctional relationship with coffee, check them out.

Coffee so good you gotta bring them home, which I did. As ironically, good coffee choices are thin, in my short visit to Nairobi I went to both Spring Valley branches five or six times. They're just a safe bet. I'd like to think that they serve up the best cup of coffees in the country. It makes me wish the proportion of Artcaffes to Spring Valley coffee shops is reversed because I couldn't get over how hard it is to find a good up of coffee in the city. Mind you, the aircon in the mall is super chilly, you might need a jacket if you wanna sit down a while, lest you caught a sniffling cold like me.

I’ve been visiting this location since it opened, and I can confidently say it’s the best coffee spot and chain in the country. The experience is amazing! If you can’t make it to the store, you can also use their fresh coffee beans at home—you won’t be disappointed. The staff at the Westgate location are friendly, knowledgeable, and always excited to provide the best coffee experience.
