Too much self-service, like in McDonalds. There're no waiters at all. You can make an order by the counter or by the table using smartphone. Dish pick up is at your own.
We choose order by the counter, because online orders demand sharing both phone number and email address with no privacy policy provided.
Shrimp scampi were a small bundle of sticked together linguini and 5 mid size shrimps for EUR 9.90. Ravioli (EUR 8.90) were not warm enough and quite narrow size too. We haven't got ciabatta as free extra as was promised.
Potted basil on the table was half-dead, but the whole interior was nice.
Summary. You enter the restaurant. You try to make an order online. You change your mind 'cause you care your privacy. Then you go to the counter to make an order. Then you go to pick up your dish. Then you go to get the cutlery. Then you realise that there're no napkins on the table and go to find and get some.
My previous Vapiano experiences in Tallinn and Vilnius were much more positive, but some years ago.

Read moreI am not sure if this is a concept for the chain, however the price does not meet expectations.
It’s a self service restaurant, where you order and then get a beeper that beeps when the food is ready. My beeper first beeped for drinks, however I would have not have known that if I wasn’t sitting next to the bar. The beeper keeps beeping and stops at one point and then beeps again when the food is ready, but it’s very confusing on where you need to go.
The food was average, tagliatelle bolognese wasn’t that great. The pasta was a little undercooked and there was very little meat, also the dish didn’t look that great overall. The bruschettas lacked taste.
Also I would like to mention that there is very limited comfortable seating available. If you are paying 15 EUR for a meal for one person you’d at least expect more sofas and less high stools that are uncomfortable for longer dining experiences.
Can’t say anything much about staff, they were polite and all good, perhaps the only okay thing here.
Overall, it’s not worth the...
Read moreWe ordered a few things. The Italian in our company had some complaints. He rated bruschetta with 2 stars. Only blank tomato's on, without oil, oregano or salt. (It is a somewhat self service restaurant, but still). He ordered quattro formaggie pizza with prosciutto crudo. He rates it at 3 stars. He also ordered lemonade and rates it excellent, 5 stars. My other colleague liked the bruschetta. He also ordered ravioli and rates is excellent, 5 stars. I ordered pizza prosciutto e fungi with extra chicken and cheese. I have no complaints. Solid, strong 4 stars. My complaint was oil with chilly flakes. It was bland. No spice, no heat. Even after shaking it and trying the flakes. I judge that the chilly flakes inside were old and they only changed the oil. Biggest complaint is that 3 of us ordered at the same time and one waited 20minutes longer than the rest of us. There is place for...
