Couple asking money outside both stockmann entrances from Market and shop morning around 8am, evening 8pm. They come close fast asking money the young girl in English and Latvian for bus tickets frequently. Stockmann security received similar reports but not able to take responsibility of this since happening outside the shop.
Stockmann:
Staff asks to not touch flowers at entrance at flower pharmacy, we where going to buy and for that is necessary to touch. They reply back in bad way, no manners and lecturing one about respect while seller is sitting down looking at phone. Seller said directly she will not make the sale. I ask her call someone else who's willing to do their jobs. Staff do not apologize, beyond wild rude to work in a shop. They must put a sign in 3 official languages DO NOT TOUCH the merchandise and probably a tape around so no one gets near. It is not customers responsibility how they exhibit if things break then find a way to exhibit safely to not upset customers. It is unwelcoming and wrong to ask customers to not touch in a shop specifically when nothing is being damaged. Flowers may look plastic so no surprise people would like to touch. Not a propper way to sell.
Wrong attitude to customers. If we cant touch then we dont buy.
Even to take items to cashier its necessay to touch them. Lecturing customers and talking back in a challenging way is what they offer.
Stockmann market: Food is improving quality. Discounts and offers available at app. Customers service reply on complaints politely. Juice is very expensive for its bad quality, comes out half bottle of old juice first mixed with new, doesnt taste good. Looks clean overall and display of products are well taken care of in order. Long lines at cashiers all times. While stockmann shop closes at 21.00, supermarket stays open 1 hour more. Easy to locate from far distance. Automatic cashier available. On Wednesday, I bought prosciutto and cheese – when I opened them at home, both products were spoiled, moldy, and smelling bad. When I contacted customer service, the only response was that they “found nothing wrong” and suggested I bring the rotten package back. Is it really normal to expect a customer to carry stinking, moldy meat around just because the store refuses to admit fault?
And that wasn’t all. On the same day, I bought two baguettes for €1.10 each. I asked to have one sliced, and suddenly the price jumped to €1.65. When I asked why, the saleswoman arrogantly replied that one was “on discount” and the other wasn’t. But both baguettes were identical – the only difference was that one was cut. This is clear customer deception.
Overall, it feels like Stockmann management lives in a bubble, believing customers should be grateful for their so-called “high quality.” In reality, the products are spoiled, prices are inconsistent, and customer service completely ignores problems. No respect for customers – just empty rhetoric and no willingness to solve issues.

You have to make a purchase for at least 30 EUR AND be member of Stockmann loyalty program. Did not take my Stockmann card with me, and also did not have it downloaded as an app. It does not make sense to meet all 2 conditions to be able to get 1h free parking. Also, the parking itself in 80-90% is tricky, will require some driver skills to park without stress + there is a chance of a car queue to the parking.
