Skoniai — Restaurant in Klaipėda

We generally have a kebab when visiting cities and towns around Europe as a first day dinner. I looked on Google Maps and found this place as it was top rated and close by.

I went to the stall, and as the menu was in Lithuanian, only I went online and used the app, which had an English option.

This was easy to use, and we ordered two large open plates.

I got an email as confirmation and an order number, I was also able to add sauces, other requests, and a time. I also paid via the app (website).

All went well, and I picked up 2 large open kebabs for 12 euros.

The portions were good, the salad was fresh, and it was very tasty.

We do like spicy kebabs, and these were not very spicy, so we added some sauce we carry around with us. This is not criticism as different cultures have variations on spice levels. All was good, and we would recommend it.

I was hoping that my partner would leave some so I could have hers, but sadly, she ate the lot.

One might be tempted to simply pass it off as common street food at first glance, but the quality of the food served here just puts most of the nearby restaurants and bistros to shame.

Presentation as good as displayed, tastes as rich as expected and prices as competitive as can be.

I myself had a simple brioche burger, and i just need to say; Other kitchens better start taking notes, beause Skoniai knows how to do a good burger.

(Only minor complaint, the meat was so juicy that the bottom bun had partially dissolved because of it)

Still, overlooking that little issue — Solid 5/5, and I hope to see Skoniai branch out from being a small vendor to a full-fledged...

Nice food truck in Klaipeda. You can take away, but there is also few tables next to the truck. Service was quick and the staff super friendly. I really liked the beef burger. The meat was juicy and well cooked. I asked for medium rare and it was perfect. The bun was soft and the cheese and barbecue sauce gave a lot of flavor to the burger.
