So first of all the location is amazing and it's really nice to sit outside. I have visited this place for lunch and the prices were reasonable as well as the food quality and portion size (I'd give it 4.5 for lunch at this restaurant). However, we came for brunch on Sunday and we are a little bit dissapointed for the following things. First, the place was really busy (which is great and gives a good vibe), but only two waiters were serving more than 15 tables so the service was slow and I felt sorry that they had to handle with so much work. Second, although eggs benedict with guacamole were great, the ones with bacon were just ok and my friend didn't like them because of a strange aftertaste and smell. Then, my pancakes were really below average. They were too dry, there was not enough curd cream which was basically the only good thing about this dish. Seriouslly, I would just make crepes with that filling instead of the ones that you serve right now that taste worse than the ones made at average school canteen. Of course, it may be just a matter of my taste but my friend didn't like them as well. By the way, prices were reasonable taking into account the location but I wouldn't come back here for brunch (only for lunch) unless it's a croissant with...
Read moreI recently visited this cafe and it was a disaster. Here’s everything that went wrong:
Food Quality: • I ordered the oatmeal porridge with caramelized banana and jam, and it was disgustingly sweet. It seemed like they dumped extra sugar in it, making it completely inedible. I could barely choke down half of it before feeling like I was going to puke. Customer Service: • When I asked for the bill, it was obvious I hadn’t finished my meal, yet none of the staff bothered to ask if something was wrong. A simple check-in would have gone a long way, but apparently, they couldn’t care less. Ambiance: • The terrace seating was another nightmare. All the tables were wobbly due to the uneven ground, making it impossible to enjoy a meal. • At the first table I sat at, there was a small vase with a flower. When I barely touched the base of the table with my feet, the unstable table caused the vase to tip over, spilling water everywhere. This was beyond frustrating and set a horrible tone for the rest of my visit.
Overall, my experience at this cafe was terrible. The combination of awful food, indifferent staff, and an uncomfortable seating arrangement made for one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Avoid this...
Read moreAfter a visit last year, this was our favorite bistro in Vilnius! The location is wonderful with a cozy interior and if you’re lucky enough to sit by the large window a view that could fill hours of gazing. But this time we were seriously underwhelmed. Perhaps because we came toward the later end of lunch but at the prices they ask, that shouldn’t be an excuse. It started off promising with a delicious hot beet soup, really quite perfect. But the main courses were awful. I had fish which was chewy, dry and tasted like it had been sitting in a pan too long, the accompanying mashed potatoes were barely lukewarm. My partner had duck confit that too was dry and the whole dish left him unsatisfied. The service was a bit lazy and uninterested which didn’t add to our dissatisfaction. Might return for the view and to give it another try but this isn’t our favorite bistro in...
