I came here on a Friday evening and took a seat at the bar. The bartender was fantastic and served me pretty much immediately and recommended different beers. The system they use here is quite strange though as when I wanted to order food this couldn't be done at the bar and only via the waiter who walked around. Mind you there was only one waiter for the whole bar. The bartender flagged the waiter though and I managed to get food, which was good. I had a good experience that day. The next day I went back and sat at the same seat as I did the day before. There were two bartenders that completely ignored me and were essentially goofing around to the point of throwing ice cubes on the floor and laughing. When I finally got their attention they told me they couldn't serve me because I had to order from the waiter who was nowhere to be found. 10 minutes later I left as no one asked me for drinks nor served me anything. Mind you, both of the bartenders were doing absolutely nothing and the waiter was too occupied. I give it 2 stars because the bartender on Friday was...
Read moreOne star for the interior only. There were some odd looking signs by the entrance, i.e. Coca cola advertising for a holiday destination draw of some sort. As I've entered the place the first thing that caught my eye was 2-3 of bar staff having shots with a group of visitors at the bar. It's not something you get to see quite often especially during the relatively early hours of opening (just after 9 pm). Regardless of the law or house policy, I don't think it was a good idea. As mentioned afore I loved the interior, the choice of drinks was below average and the service was ok. I enjoyed my time there, can't say the same about other people who seemed to be looking around as if waiting for somebody or something. Many bored faces, few a bit arrogant, looking down on others. Many visitors who came in left after a few seconds. I left as soon as the DJ started playing loud bass. I guess this was to attract the people from the outside, as the sound became quite annoying. Sorry, but I am not coming back. It takes more than a nice interior to create the right...
Read moreOn 22 November (friday) I attempted to come in Dirigentai, but I was stopped by the discriminative bouncer, and when I asked "is there any private event going on" he just took my fake question and answerd "yes". Just after the same moment when I asked a person coming out from inside the bar , that person said "no it is public , no private event" , that proved the bouncer wrong. To the manager: Look if you are going to give the same racist and discriminative treatment like your neighbor "bardakas" then what is the point! Just put a big notice outside your bar or probably hand over such paper to your bouncers so that they can show it to the folks like me who do not get admission! By the way, I have been to Dirigentai freaking so many times, even before you when the manager was "Margarita" but I have never had such hideous discriminative experience ever in your bar until now! I hope you will conduct necessary conducts. Or I would like to face that bouncer in front of you and hear what bs reason he has to...
