Alchemikas — Restaurant in Vilnius

Alchemikas is the most popular cocktail bar in Vilnius - whether you ask a local or do a simple google search on one bar to visit if you want to have good cocktails. As a result, ended up visiting the bar twice during my stay in Vilnius. During both visits, I did not have a reservation, but was able to get a bar counter seat immediately. The bar is quite popular and if you’re visiting as a large group, I’d think it’d be better to make a reservation. Small parties or solo visitors should be able to get a table/seat quickly.

The cocktail menu is huge and it includes a lot of traditional/classic drinks as well as signature cocktails of the bar. I ended up trying 6 of their signature cocktails across my 2 visits. All the drinks I had were quite decent. If you want to be a bit brave, try the “Baltic Courage” which is a cocktail made from 75% ABV balsam, and also ask for a small shot of the balsam which is used to make the drink.

I was looking for a "High end bar" locally, some place where I can actually enjoy a few drinks and relax without the obnoxious kids and loud music. Let me just say, this was my first time there on a Thursday evening...two words..."INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!" Exquisite ambiance of the place well tailored for their clientele, not too loud, a place you can sit drink and have a great conversation. The patrons there are really chill and friendly easy place to strike up a conversation with strangers should you do so. Now for the reason I went, "I wanted a few drinks" and the bartenders are absolutely friendly and "ARTIST" in their craft of drink making. They meticulously pour, measure and taste their creations before serving their clients making sure every detail from drink to garnish is presentable, a beautiful display on their work of art. Overall I would have to give this place a 10+/10 easily one of the best bars I've been to in Vilnius and will...

The worst place I have ever "visited". As a foreign turist, before coming to Vilnius I had searched for top places to visit. We came to this place when it was early enough to still have some tables free but we were denied entrance, as the bodyguard said: "the bartender is not able to manage all orders". It was my bachelorette party which, as planned, would start in this place... It was not only very bad experience but also very embarrassing one I would say... We had impression that the bodyguard said that as an excuse to not allow us to enter this place for some reason. Honestly, we didn't care much about waiting for cocktails, we would joyfully wait for it... if we had a chance. I don't recommend this "bar"...
