The decor is nothing short of imaginative, and it's packed with character, all inspired by the delicious world of pancakes. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an ambiance that made us feel like we had stepped into a pancake paradise.
One thing that really impressed us was the swift service. They seem to have mastered the art of providing quick and efficient service without compromising on quality. And speaking of quality, the food was simply delectable. The pancakes were a treat, and it was evident that they take pride in their culinary creations.
During our last visit, the outside decoration was particularly inviting, adorned with vibrant and floral displays, not to mention the enormous decorative strawberries that practically beckoned people into the shop. It was a delightful touch and added to the overall charm.
Gusto Blyninė is a perfect spot for families and little ones. The uniqueness of this place combined with its mouthwatering offerings made it a hit with my wife and me. It's the ideal spot to satisfy your sweet cravings. We couldn't recommend it...
Read moreThe restaurant looks very nice both from the outside and inside, the design is inviting and cozy. Unfortunately, the experience with food and service was quite disappointing.
When we sat down, we wanted to order sandwiches, but the waitress told us it would take too long and recommended pancakes instead. Ironically, the sandwich arrived first, while we had to wait a long time for the pancakes and syrniki.
When the food finally came, it looked nothing like the photos in the online menu (see attached pictures). The drinks, pancakes, and syrniki were completely different from what was advertised. I ordered syrniki with cottage cheese, but what I got was just some pastry without any cheese inside – basically bread, impossible to eat.
We ended up very frustrated. The only positive thing was that after arguing and asking for the manager (for more than 3 times!), they agreed to give us a discount and not charge for some items. Still, the overall impression was poor, and I would not recommend this place for food...
Read moreUPDATE: Sadly, Gusto is no longer what it used to be. Today, my family was sat waiting for over an hour, when the restaurant was not busy, watching plates come out for tables that arrived after us. Our server eventually came to say the kitchen lost our order. We had to wait so so long and they didn't do anything to make it right.
On our visit previous visit, the pancakes they brought with the breakfast combo were half the size they normally are, which I did complain about and they did bring me a second tiny pancake. Today they were the normal size.
Something has gone wrong so I am changing my rating down from 5 stars to 2.
This is probably my favourite restaurant in Vilnius. Decor is wonderfully quirky, and menu is full of more variety of pancakes than I had ever imagined :)
Gusto had closed for a while and is now back under new management. Same menu with an increase in pricing which hopefully means the business will be sustainable now. Still highly...
