Holy Donut — Restaurant in Vilnius

Had shakshuka here for breakfast on the 23rd of november. First things first, the service was really nice and the atmosphere is really welcoming. But when it comes to food i was quite a bit disappointed. Not a disaster, but for a breakfast place you should really up your egg game, guys. The shakshuka came with overcooked eggs. The whites were almost crispy and the yolks were hard. Another thing, the tomato base was sweet and reminded me of the taste of ketchup. Which is, uuuuhm, a twist to put it mildly. The bun served alongside was nice though - soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. All in all, this is yet another breakfast place that cannot properly cook eggs and i’ll have to continue relying on myself for this task.

I took the avocado toast (topped with salad, tomato, radish, feta) on their breakfast menu, it tasted quite good, avocado was generous but I think it's slightly overpriced. I asked for the vegan option, the waitress told me it was that but the feta tasted like real feta so I don't know what to think of that ... FYI the fried pancakes behind are not vegan, these are my boyfriend's. He liked it very much and it was very copious.

Tried some donuts too (there are about 5 vegan donuts) : the cinnamon sugar was good, but the apple fritter was a little dry and only not enough appels.

What I liked the most was the drinks ! Matcha and chaï lattes were really delicious. I recommend this address, it's nice to have many clearly labelled...

The service was quite slow, we waited for eggs for 30+ minutes. The eggs benedict were nothing special, quite mediocre actually. The scrambled eggs and garnish were actually tasty and felt fresh. The milkshake was not very tasty either but the capuccino was good at least. We also tried some donuts and they looked very good but left us disappointed since they were really plain. Certainly not worth the steep price. The interior of the shop is a bit weird and the table placement a bit cramped. The toilets were very nice and clean. Sadly not the best experience especially since everything is...
