We went to Vilnius in November 2023. we liked this city so much. It was green and clean and cute. We visited a big square and a magnificent church in it. Actually this square is huge and stunning. The church is called Vilnius Cathedral (the full name: The Cathedral Basilica of St Stanislaus and St Ladislaus of Vilniusl; Lithuanian: Vilniaus Šv. Stanislovo ir Šv. Vladislovo arkikatedra bazilika). It is old and utterly historical. Cathedral is a Catholic church. It is for two saints: Stanislaus and Ladislaus. They were people who helped Lithuania. But the church was burned many times by fire. So people had to build it again and again. The last time they built it was in 1779-1783. They made it look like ancient Greece, with columns and triangles. Vilnius Cathedral is also important for history. Many kings and queens of Lithuania were crowned there. They had a big ceremony with a crown and a sword. Some of them were also buried there, under the church. There is a place where you can see their tombs and bones. One king even left his heart there, but his body is in another country. The Vilnius Cathedral is a very special place. It shows the faith and the history of Lithuania. We are...
