SUBMARINE — Restaurant in Vilnius

Absolutely wonderful service, as a foreigner visiting for the first time I felt completely welcomed. Our waitress which I regret to not know the name of was absolutely fantastic. Not only did she offer recommendations on the menu but also travel areas around. The location was not so busy at the time of my visit but the waitress was very communicative and respectful, we engaged in dialog to local customs and courtesies Iwould other wise be unaware of. I happened to have the chicken dish which was fabulous, my other gust a pizza which was also very delightful . We happened to bring local draft beers which had a great aromah and taste. Will most certainly make this a repeat visit during my stay and recommend to any this be a must...

We visited the Submarine restaurant after a day trip in the city on our way back to our accommodation and couldn't have done better. The service was very pleasant and the whole experience was better thanks to gentleman. The taste of the food was great, especially the burger with pulled meat. The only small problem we saw was the price of drinks. But that is something that is probably traditional in the capital, even if at least water could be cheaper. It is wonderful, that even after 20+ years (I dont remember exactly, but maybe Sumarine operates from late 90s) You still can get Florentino pizza with garlic sauce (though I miss "plus" option, that I used before!). Some are seeking for something new, if I go somewhere - because I like something particular there. And this is probably single place in Vilnius with proper music background and decorated with Beatles and ex-Beatles records.
