I recently passed by Imago KK Times Square in Sabah and noticed a sign for “Traditional Fried Pork Kuey Teow Soup” from Sandakan. Out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try and ordered their signature dish, Fried Pork Kuey Teow Soup (RM14.95), along with a drink called Cincau Milk (RM8.70). The Fried Pork Kuey Teow Soup was served promptly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. The first sip of the broth was rich and full-bodied, and the meat was perfectly seasoned. A delightful surprise was the crispy bits in the soup. At first, I thought they were fried onions, but they turned out to be fried meat—super crunchy and a fantastic addition to every bite. The kuey teow noodles were cooked just right, maintaining a great texture that paired well with the broth. As for the drink, the Cincau Milk was refreshing and complemented the warm, hearty soup nicely. Overall, the dish was delicious and satisfying. Food: Wanton sandakan noodles: classic wanton noodles but the sandakan noodles are very springy and chewy. Flavour wise its good. The dumplings were nice too, with the dough not being too thick. Verdict: 3.5/5.
Fried pork noodles soup: I must say the soup is very blend and not seasoned at all. The fried pork is EXCELLENT! And it is the highlight of the dish! Verdict: 4.8/5 for the fried pork! 1.9/5 for the noodles.

Read moreThe food taste is superb. I went twice and both is different. Some of the ingredients is missing or sold out. Second time I went there. I ordered for take away. And I can assure you it's taking forever. I waited 30 min for my order. When I asked the cashier, she said the chef is waiting for the vege to be cooked. I am pretty sure there are 3-4 orders after mine and they were all served because they all dine in. And what vege needs to be "cooked" for 30 min. The chef on the other hand when asked about my order... I quote "Unless you want your order without vege" and then hold his mobile up and keep watching his mobile most of the time and doesn't seem to be bothered. What a turn down unto such a great place. To be receiving bad comments because of your unprofessional staff behaviour. I won't be...
