Chapter One Cafe — Restaurant in Borneo

Coffee here is decent, more on the fruity side. Latte is quite diluted unless you order with an extra shot. Love the honey cake! It’s surprisingly good! The lasagna is tasty as well, flavorful though can be quite salty.

2 major improvements that need to be addressed by the team in Chapter One: Please clean your toilets well, especially the toilet bowl. It has water/dirt stain, and there isn’t any toilet paper stock in the toilet. The windows also have some dirt & spider webs on them. provide a better quality tissue papers for the hand basin area. I think a cafe this successful can easily afford better tissue papers. It’s also always finished, leaving only empty box behind.

Everything else is good, quite cozy to work in & bring friends to hang out there. Just look after the small details in your cafe, not just...

They deserve more than 5 stars indeed,, i just wanna share my experience about this great coffee house and the great kind barista .. Just know they helped me to find back my phone, and they were really giving their commitment into it,, i left my phone inside the grab,and i ask them to help me even they dont know me and im just a customer or a stranger, but they serve me very polite and very well, help me till the end without any excuses,, salute their kindness,,, if u ask me where's the best place to chill with the great coffee,, for sure, this is the best one i got,, great coffee will be known by the great barista... We had chai latte and iced chocolate (on the menu it is Royal Belgian Chocolate or something like that) Pros: nice and spacious cafe, very friendly staff, comfortable, fragrant chai. Cons: chai latte had quite a bit of syrup or sugar making it very sweet. Iced chocolate came with very little chocolate so felt like drinking diluted choc milk. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture. Not sure if it is a new item because it is not on the main menu on the wall. For the price, definitely needs a better chocolate to milk ratio.

Will come back to try dessert next trip as there are many good reviews but hope to see improvements for drinks next time. Service is...
