KOGI Korean Cuisine & Fusion Bar — Restaurant in Borneo

I used to come here every month and even left a positive review when the restaurant first opened. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing.

I ordered Jeyuk (Pork) Hanpan, but what I received was beef! I immediately contacted the person in charge via WhatsApp. He told me they didn’t have any sliced beef, so it couldn’t be beef — but what I received was clearly beef, not pork. We do not eat beef, so this was extremely upsetting.

Yes, they refunded me RM45, but the way the person spoke was incredibly sarcastic. If this is the level of customer service now, I might reconsider coming back in the future.

Honestly, the first batch of staff was the best. The food tasted great back then, and the quality has been dropping slowly ever since....

Recently tried their new Kogi Kopitiam menu items. I had the seaweed soup (miyeokguk) and it was quite good (although no meat). And today I went again to try the jjajangmyeon because I was craving some and this place is close to my office. I have to say I was very disappointed. The jjajang sauce was so watery and diluted. The flavour of the chunjang was really lacking, too. This for me is not proper jjajangmyeon and I left disappointed. I have eaten slightly watery jjajangmyeon before but never like this. I might as well cook ramyeon at home if i wanted to eat soup noodles. Although the price is affordable, that doesn’t mean the quality should be cheap. Will probably not return to this place...

I enjoyed it too much. The pork ganjang was definitely my favorite, its mesmerizing texture and flavor was delightful to taste. Everyone was very friendly, and the hygienic environment was enough to impress us constantly. The side dishes were too good… especially the kimchi jjigae. The bowl was full of toppings and the popping kimchi whenever I take a bite was another level of flavor. That we even forgot about the main dish😭. I don’t normally write reviews, but it was a must for this place. I totally don’t regret going, and I would want to try the other dishes in the future. Thank you so much for the impressive...
