The lady boss came to take our order. I ordered fried mee without pork with seafood, emphasizing that my worker is Muslim, which is why we ordered a non-pork dish for him. I also ordered curry mee, while my mom was still deciding what to order. (The entire process was within 2min)

Suddenly, the lady boss yelled, "If it's going to take ages, I'm going back to my counter. Just yell your order when you're ready!"

My mom replied, "but I'm almost ready to order."

The lady boss responded while going back her counter "I'm going to be standing all day later. My legs will be sore."

We were about to leave but decided to give them one last chance by ordering Hokkien mee. She then yelled, "Wasn't it you who didn’t want pork? Now you're ordering this? This dish is only served with pork!"

From a distance, I raised my voice and said, "We already ordered a non-pork dish for our Malay worker! Did we ever say we are Muslim?"

She then shouted, "I've never seen a customer speak so loudly and with no manners!"

For the record, her voice was much louder than mine, yet she made such a rude comment. We decided to stay quiet and not let this ruin our mood for the food. However, the food turned out to be disappointing. The Hokkien mee was undercooked and hard, and we couldn’t even finish it.

When it was time to pay, I chose to remain silent, but she suddenly yelled, "Everyone knows I have a loud voice! Even so, you shouldn't have yelled at me! You shouldn’t ‘Hort’ (hakka) me!

I told her, "Just because everyone knows you yell at people doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do."

She then said, "Don’t come to my shop again."

What was meant to be a precious breakfast with my mom turned out to be the most regretful experience...

It is an extremely comforting Chinese food that you can ever taste in KK. I tried their Seafood Hor Fun in Egg gravely, Fish sauce fried Mee Hoon with seafood, Salty vegetables soup, and Herbal Chicken drumstick with rice. All are delicious, the ingredients they use are fresh (especially the fish slice), and I personally recommend Herbal Chicken drumstick, which is a must try! Besides food available on the menu, they have today's special and even custom menu! It's really worth it to drop by! What a pity they are not operating...

The last surviving Chinese restaurant in the vacinity. The watanho meehoon is really good, gravy is spot on and got wokhei Herbal chicken is among the better one on town Don't forget to order their kopi botol also 😊
