Famous food corner — Restaurant in Sabah

Went during lunch and we ordered 2 Nasi Goreng ayam penyet and 1 Nasi Goreng Lalap. 2 Teh tarik ice and 1 kit chai. The food arrived more than 20 minutes after ordering. Food taste okay but the portion could be better. The Teh tarik ice was a little bit bland tho. Kinda felt like we're drinking coloured water only. Service is quite slow during lunch and it is understandable but we're really taken aback with the waitresses action when we asked for sup kosong because instead of giving us sup kosong she went back and walk around the restaurant and ignore our request. End up we have to request another sup kosong from another waitresses and only got it after almost finishing our food which is pointless at that point. I truly hope the service will be improved.

If you have a food allergy to anything, it might not be taken seriously here. I explicitly said what I was allergic to (in translate too), it was acknowledged, but not taken seriously. I was served food I was allergic to and (the language barrier may have made it) seem as if there was no concern for my health. “No problem?” And smiles while I attempt to pay and leave, saying “allergy allergy”.

Worst meal eaten in Malaysia. Nasi Ayam was awful, not sure what was in the sauce it was overpowering, rice tasted strange as well. One customer behind me was smoking so unable to finish my meal. The manager was too scared to tell the customer that smoking was not allowed as indicated by the no smoking signs on every table. Will not be eating...
