OROS Gastrobar — Restaurant in Borneo

Will not visit again. The waitress that attended us did not know much about their menu. Most of their juices are not fresh juice. Sat inside where it was air-conditioned, but it was warm, and they were so many mosquitoes.

Food that we ordered: Jet burnt angus steak not seared well at all, and i think it was sliced without proper resting… causing it to loss its juiciness the sauce that they drizzled on the steak is sweet, which did not complimented at all for rm88 per 100g, no sides were served with

Paella tasted nothing like a spanish paella mussels smelt a lil funky and the amount of unknown white sauce smothered on did not paired well for rm288, it is super over priced (about 8 mussels and a couple of chicken chunks)

Creme au citron seabass good fish swimming in some sweet lemon cream sauce rm 68

Smoked salmon salad rm 38

Crispy bites overly battered fried chicken not well fried rm27

Meatballs masalah meatball was not cooked throughly, was still raw in the middle curry was no wow rm23

Mint mojo poulet marination was a lil weird tasting mint sauce was a savior here rm38

Duck mango bruschetta was ok ok only because of the commercial smoked duck not sure where the mango was small cutesie portion, overly priced rm39

French onion soup sour, peppery, bovril tasting liquid not a french onion soup rm20

Truffle cream with smoked duck pasta pasta was a lil over cooked not much smoked duck or truffle taste rm36

Overall, everything on the menu is on the high price range. Quality and taste of food is on the lower end. And portion...

Second time here, and Im still satisfied with the food. I find the menu kinda interesting, espy the tapas. There are also many types of alcohol, wines and unique cocktails. The pasta was cooked well and pleasantly spiced. Chicken meat amount was more than unexpected and the potato soup was really good- full of flavour.

The waiters were more attentive here than most restaurants in KK. They also had rhe courtesy to ask how the food is. The food and drinks were served fairly quickly.

The bar and restaurant are kinda aesthetic too. It makes you feel elegant and want to have deep conversations haha. It's a nice place for couples...

This is one of those places where every dish is almost a 10/10. We had dinner here tonight and the food was absolutely incredible. Cooked to perfection, delicious and very nicely presented. Nice smaller-sized, tapas dishes to share - so excellent for groups of 4 or more to taste a variety.

The atmosphere, ambience and service from staff was amazing as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Shoutout to whoever the chefs are because they just brought the KK food scene to a whole...
