Pete's Corner, a cozy spot with a mix of delights and quirks. If you're rolling in on four wheels, remember, parking isn't free here—it comes with a modest fee. So, keep some change handy. Now, onto breakfast—it's a morning affair, with the last order marching in at 11 AM. But if you're an early riser, Pete's Corner serves up the best-scrambled eggs in town. Fluffy, creamy, and just downright delightful. Oh, don't even think about Sunday brunch plans; they're closed on Sundays. A bit of a bummer if you're craving Pete's specialties on a lazy weekend. Speaking of specialties, the mushroom soup here is a must-try. It's like a cozy hug in a bowl—warm, earthy, and bursting with flavor. Pair it with their white coffee shake, and you've got yourself a duo made in taste-bud heaven. The shake is an indulgent treat, with the richness of white coffee beautifully blended into a creamy concoction. Despite the quirks and parking fees, Pete's Corner weaves a charming culinary story. It's a breakfast haven with a dash of uniqueness, serving up a plate of comfort and a sip of bliss that makes it a worthwhile stop for a flavorful morning rendezvous. Just make sure you're there before the clock strikes 11, and you're in for a treat.

I want my eggs! So I arrived 10:55am, waited 7 minutes to be seated, which was already 11:02am, waiter came with a NON BREAKFAST menu, I ask if they can cook me an egg or two, all I get was a NO answer because he said it’s lunch time and serving lunch menu. Come on, how hard it is to put an egg into the skillet and scrambled them at the side which doesn’t take more than 2 minutes, all the waiter can tell me is NO, NO, NO🤣… even if they charge me extra 2 dollars, or even 10 bucks I wouldn’t mind paying because I want my egg! Anyway, had to order their lunch menu, “special” sandwich with cheese and some bits of chicken and few thin slices of buffalo meat inside. No comment since it’s cheap food. Besides, I am a regular to this joint with my parents since I was 6 years old, it is not that hard to fry an egg and charge me an extra RM3 dollars for it. I gave feedback to the boss which is a Chinese uncle but all he can do is gave me excuses that the workers are busy and should have taken your orders while waiting for my seat bla bla bla and gave an insincere apology “seemingly” just to chase me away.

Finally I get to taste a decent Western Breakfast in KK City. And it is worth of queuing. It opens at 7am as stated in the menu, and close at 11am, short period but imagine that there is non stop seats filling in every 10 to 20 mins. I was here at 7am sharp, and it's full house, with me lining up, and I only sat around 7:10am, ate, stood outside and paid and just like that, another couple wanted my seat straight away. I have no idea where are these crowd suddenly just appear. I love that they care about details. From the choices of condiments on the table, well wrapped tables to minimize grease, those ceramic plates, silverware cutleries, little basket for toast and clear glass mug for the morning kick. The food choices are amazing and the taste are just mouth watering. I had beef bacon, turkey ham, omelette with mushroom, baked beans and a cup of hot Teh Madras, with total to RM11.
