We came here because of the good reviews in Google.
It was a quiet Saturday night for them, it has a big area with a few customers. We decided on the cheese potato snow crab, the sashimi bowl, salmon garlic fried rice, okonomiyaki and the salmon belly sashimi.
The cheese potato snow crab looks tasty, i was very excited over it until i tasted black pepper in it. The black pepper overwhelms the whole dish that i couldn't bring myself to finish it (I must say I'm not a big fan of black pepper). It was a pity as it would have tasted so much better without it.
I couldn't comment much on the sashimi bowl as I was not the one having it. I had the salmon garlic fried rice. It was very fragrant and I finished all of it leaving not a grain of rice. It would be better if the salmon was cooked just perfectly tender as mine was a little bit overcooked.
The biggest surprise has to be the okonomiyaki. It's really difficult to find nice okonomiyaki, even in Japan; and to tell the truth, I was reluctant to order but my friend wanted it. However it was surprisingly good! I think I had half of the okonomiyaki!
Another plus was the salmon belly sashimi. It was fresh and melts in the mouth! I was delighted having it!
Do take note the hot green tea comes in a pot as it wasn't served in this way in my country.
The total damage for these was RM246.03. Quite an expensive meal. I would come again only when I feel rich (which doesn't...

The sashimi was all fresh, and the wasabi too. Sake was really good. But what really impressed us was the service team. Attentive, polite, and unobtrusive. There was no feeling of pressure to order, but at the same time they are paying attention to if you need them, they were immediately on hand and helpful when we asked questions about the food/drink options.
Examples of the gestures that impressed us: When my partner accidentally dropped a chopstick, before she had picked it up and sat back up, there was a waitress standing unobtrusively offering a fresh pair of clean chopsticks. When I stood up to head to the counter to pay, I saw the cashier immediately walk to the counter to prepare the bill even before I arrived. As another reviewer has mentioned, the cashier very politely and clearly looks away when the PIN is being keyed in. When we chose to walk out a different door further from the counter, likewise saw another waitress reach the door first and open it for us.
We really felt like the Japanese culture of service has been well ingrained in this team. Well done to the team! Wonderfully charming experience and will...
Read moreAll I can taste were disappointment. After reading great reviews from this restaurant, I suggested my friend to try out this place. So, when we got there, well the enviroment is nice, super Japanese vibes going on there. Then we sat down and look at the menu, wow the prices were exceptional expensive but its understandable as almost all the ingredient imported from Japan, have mercy on our wallet so we ordered just some sashimi and some sushi. When the food arrives and we tasted them and boy oh boy, it was MEH actually, like nothing special at all, the sashimi were not really fresh as I thought. I feel ashamed really to even brought my friend here and got him paid for the food that were really not that good. Just really really sad I must say.. One unhappy, two unhappy...
