Ting Noodle House — Restaurant in Borneo

I have been here several times with my family and known of this cashier who was also the boss..it's been quite a time since I came here, today actually wish to hv lunch at another place but it's closed,so just try to hv my lunch here b4 going for some personal matters nearby.A polite lady staff came n ask for order, Then I sit back hoping to enjoy my beef noodle n take a break..however, to my disappointment, a table of customers left,the boss push the chair, putting stuffs rudely, so I'm thinking wats wrong with him..did anyone annoyed him or is it me. 🤨 After lunch, I gave him rm50 and wait for the change and he sigh n rudely push the machine...Customers don't pay to get stressed, being adult, why u can't handle yr mood in public..I pity such a person cos he indirectly chased customers away..After reading numerous similar comments, I felt relieved, will not come back to pressure myself n pay for it hahah, Btw I scarcely write...

This is a noodle house you go to if you want to be served beef noodles made by a Chef from Hilton hotel. For that reason the quality of the cooking is of a higher level. The noodles I had reminded me of Pan Mee I used to enjoy from a certain shop in KL. The beef is perfectly cooked, the tendons are superbly rendered. It's not your typical noodle shop, because the chef undertands restaurant level food. However If you don't understand what this shop is about you might find the service staff rude. Imagine a noodle shop runned by Marco Pierre White in his earlier days. Perhaps service will be better if they hire a waiter who is friendlier or a Maitres d' I believe that's the solution to this place reaching epicness. I still recommend everyone to try this place, just, order enjoy your food, pay and have a nice day, no need to small talk the staff...

I seldom do review but this is exceptional 😅 First of all, food ain’t really cheap here but:

Unsatisfactory service (Staffs were polite but not the boss/owner/chef). Not sure what he had been through but he seemed very moody and angry all the time. Slammed things here and there. I put my sunglasses on the table and the boss just slammed (kinda hard) the menu onto my sunglasses. My heart ached a bit. When another customer asked for a pen to write down order, the boss said rudely: JUST GO AND SIT DOWN, I WILL TAKE YOUR ORDER

We just want to have a meal, please don’t be mean to customers 🙂🙂

Portion not generous. I understand raw material cost increases recently, but with the price i paid, I expected a little more than this. Taste still up to standard
