半月居 Yue Fine Dining — Restaurant in George Town

Not a customer of the restaurant. Booked a stay upstair the restaurant but they are sharing the same entrance. So when i first came in the lobby i would have thought the restaurant staff were the hotel staff as i do not know there is a restaurant downstair and there is no sign to differentiate the hotel and restaurant. (I just realize after i went outside the door and check on the tiny piece of paper stated the details of the hotel.)So i told the restaurant staff that i would like to check in but she ignore me. No more abalone in your soup. You mentioned "abalone" in your menu, and based on reviews and pictures online, there is indeed supposed to be abalone inside. Why wasn't mine included?

The food is nice and somewhat creative. A wonderful fusion of eastern fine-dine. Nice ambience in the dining area. The portion is just nice even though it is declared as a 11-course meal, where each course is actually small in portion. However, there are a few setbacks: The employees are too young and unexperienced, resulting in the explanation given to each course felt so unprofessional. The tableware are NOT changed at all throughout the 11-course, at least not when we have not asked. The taste of appetizers and main course just blend in together due to reusing tableware.
