Love the tau foo faa desserts here! Lots of variety and the tau foo faa wasn’t too sweet like other places. Deco is minimalistic and the service by the waitstaff was attentive & great! When we arrived they told that there was a 20 minutes of waiting time, which we gladly accepted as we wanted to know what the hype was about. To our surprise, the taste and texture of the tau foo faa exceeded our expectations. We ordered the original and screwpine (pandan) tau foo faa. It costs rm4/box and the texture was silky smooth like baby’s butt👶The original tau foo faa wasn’t sweet at all but the pandan one was very fragrant. We also ordered the limited edition QiXi dessert called “Our Love Story” and it was my favourite! It came with a base of tau foo faa (option of hot/cold) , lychees, two types of fragrant rose jelly and special popping water chestnut balls which was a delightful experience in the mouth! We also loved the fact that they separated the syrup and crushed peanuts so that we can control the sweetness level and not everyone loves peanuts on their tau foo faa. Overall, would come back again to try other desserts; hopefully the queuing line will...
Read moreWe love your desserts so much that we went back the next day! During our first visit, we had 1) hot soy beancurd with 3 toppings (grass jelly, peach gum & mixed taro balls) with osmanthus honey syrup. 2) White peach oolong shaved ice
During our second visit, we had black sesame shaved ice with grass jelly and mini taro balls. The osmanthus honey syrup with the hot soy beancurd is a refreshing change. We have had bingsu in different countries but never had the peach oolong or black sesame ones before.
What made our second visit a memorable experience was Stella who recognised us from the day before. She made us feel so welcome by even remembering where we sat the day before. Her customer service is impeccable and she made us feel so special. She is such an asset to your restaurant and a worthy ambassador for you.
Sadly, we are not locals and so, we will have to wait till our next trip back to Malaysia to taste your delicious desserts again unless you open a branch in...
Read moreI thought just walk by and just have some dessert and give it a try. Was there around 8pm+, thought no people because I saw two empty tables reserved on the ground floor. The waitress told me there is an available place upstairs. Not so crowded but slowly the tables were filled up accordingly due to peak hours. The staircase is very sloping due to old design since WW2, not so convincing for old people and kids. Walkways are a bit narrow.
Food/beverage served about 10 to 20 minutes after QR code order.
Had ordered the signature tofu fa,burnt cheese cake and soy milk the taste was just like meh.. I'm not impressed so far... can get better from other places with the same price.
The staff are attentive and friendly.
