If you love local western food and you live in the island, chances are you will have heard of this place and have possibly dined here too. They have relocated to many places throughout their business but currently operates in the food court along Jalan Burma. For me this place serves up nostalgic western fares such as hainanese style chicken chop and my favourites are chicken cordon bleu, mixed grill platter, oxtail soup and mushroom soup. Today we ordered exactly just that (except the mixed grill) as I want to know if that classic tastes are still there. The mushroom soup was rich, smooth and it had good chunks of mushrooms. The chicken chop was also commendable as I love its sauce which was very flavorful and punchy. The only qualm was that the chicken fillet turned out to be abit chewy sadly. Overall, this is a commendable western food stall with recipes that are further enhanced to cater to the local palate and I would encourage one to...
