This is the first time and also the last time.
This is both the first and last time I will be ordering from Food Master Bak Kut Teh. I generally refrain from leaving negative reviews but the experience was truly disappointing and unacceptable.
Before placing the order, I clearly requested a single person portion for my son along with a vegetable dish. The person taking the order assuming the owner, a man in his 40s—did not inform me of the pricing or mention that it would be unusually extremely expensive.
When the food was served, one of the workers informed us the total was RM47.50. Both my wife and I were shocked. The owner later pointed out that the price was displayed above but insisted that this was the standard price for a one person portion. I questioned the fairness of charging RM47.50 for a single portion of bak kut teh to which he gave no response and simply walked away.
To be clear, I will never order from Food Master Bak Kut Teh again and do not recommend it based on this experience.
Again, This is the first time and also...

Cheaper mass-made items like beancurd sheet and meatball will make up to a ‘sizeable portion’. Overall not satisfying due to lacklustre and perfunctory manner of delivering tasty quality food. Price for one portion is rm29 (minimum),...

With Food Master you can pick and choose what you want (more = $$$) so we were quite pleased with the taste and our selection...
