This was fronting the Gurney Drive that used to be a sandy beach once upon a time. I came by here with my cousins long long ago to play during low tide and to collect sea shells.. Now I came for an ice coffee and garlic cheese bun. How the place have changed.
The cafe had the snazzy ambience that will make you happily pay more for your cup of coffee. Modern and with an understated charm of a neibourhood coffee haunt. My only gripe is the steep stairs. The service though pleasant but not attentive as they got my order wrong.
The ice coffee is thick and creamy. Though ice cold the aroma of the nicely roasted and freshly ground beans came through. If only there is less ice and more coffee and milk, it would have been perfect. So would a garlic cheese bun...

Here's what we tried: Hot Cappuccino - excellent. French style croissant - good. Coconut water - good. Carrot cake slice - very good. Two things that stood out - the Cappuccino was not just about the milk and the carrot cake was not over sweet. Service is pretty easygoing, yet quick.
