Kim's Korean Restaurant Georgetown — Restaurant in George Town

I’ve come to this place since 6 years and the quality of the food was always superb. The Korean lady (think she is or was the owner) always gave us a nice smile and delivered best quality. Today it’s the first time since COVID that we came to this place again. Sadly to say, the quality went full stream downwards. The Kimchi isn’t the same, the Kimchi soup lost its delicious taste, the Dumpling turned into a deep fried disaster and the Pork belly from the grill was drier than the Sahara desert.

It’s a shame that a restaurant that always delivered the most delicious high quality food turned down to a below average Korean BBQ place. People, safe yourself the money and hassle, you can go to any Korean BBQ place, it will be better. As a side note, the Korean lady wasn’t around any longer....

We r being cheated, firstly it's not easy for us to come in group. We wanted to order stir fried n waiter from cashier probably is supervisor talked us to order pan chicken cheese n lie it got Korean rice cake sticks. Telling this is going to wait 40min for the dish. afterwards serve wrong dish n we verified with the waiter again, lie saying it's correct, the picture look different n insist said it is. I used to be regular customer n was. Satisfied with everything this time is a disaster. I doubt the people who work. The moral value or the supervisor is engaging in lies n teaching the waiter to lie too this us...

Must Try menu Cheese Dakgalbi The owner recommended it as a signature menu of this place. I was a little nervous because it looked super spicy due to the red color. But it wasn't. It was super savory from butter and chicken oil, sweet from cabbage. The owner said that the Secret red sauce recipe is from Chuncheon , Kangwon province in Korea where the origin of Dakgalbi is. And the combination with mozzarella cheese was fantastic. Last , stir fried rice with the sauce, my stomach is already heaven. It was enough for 3 people.
