It's truly a heart-wrenching loss that the renowned Wilson's Hainanese Spring Roll stall has bid farewell to Long Beach Cafe (Ferringhi Station) after a remarkable 21-year run 😭 The absence of their signature spring rolls leaves a void that's hard to fill. The stall's legacy of delectable spring rolls attracted a multitude of patrons, who now share in the sadness of its closure. While there may be new spring roll stall emerging, it's crucial to clarify that the newcomer is not associated with the iconic establishment. The news that Wilson's Hainanese Spring Roll is actively seeking a new location to continue their culinary journey offers a glimmer of hope, and keeping an eye on their Facebook page for updates is essential for loyal fans like you and I who eagerly await their return.

If you're looking for a wide variety of delicious food options for your family, this is the place to be. With over 20 stalls, there's something for everyone, from wanton noodles to BBQ chicken wings, satay, dumplings, tandoori, and more.
However, the real standout for me was the Hainanese Spring Rolls stall. This unassuming stall specializes in traditional Hainanese Spring Rolls, and they are nothing short of phenomenal. Operating since 2003, they have been around for over 20 years, and it's not hard to see why.
I learned that the stall owner makes the spring roll skin freshly on a daily basis, which adds to the amazing taste and texture. The crispy, crunchy skin is stuffed with prawn, chicken, turnip, cabbage, carrot, and a plethora of savory flavors that burst in your mouth. And let's not forget about the homemade sauce that complements the spring rolls perfectly. At only RM5 per roll, it's an excellent value for every bite.
But that's not all, the store owner is also a feast for the eyes with his impressive culinary skills and friendly demeanor.
Overall, I highly recommend the Hainanese Spring Rolls stall at this food center. The food is authentic, unbelievably scrumptious, and the service is exceptional. It's a must-visit for any food lover...
Read moreOur visit to Long Beach Cafe at the local food court was a delightful culinary journey through the heart of the region. The experience was refreshingly down-to-earth, and the fact that most of the dishes were served by friendly locals added to the authenticity of the outing.
We embarked on a culinary adventure, sampling a diverse array of dishes that celebrated the local flavors. The grilled seafood, which included fish, prawns, squid, and okra, was a highlight of our meal. Each bite transported us to the seaside with its fresh and perfectly charred taste.
The satay chicken and BBQ chicken wings were succulent and brimming with local flavors. These dishes showcased the skillful art of grilling and seasoning that the locals are known for, making them a delightful choice.
One of the standout dishes was the teppanyaki lamb. While most of our meal was exceptional, the lamb teppanyaki left a bit to be desired. It was over-marinated and a tad too chewy, which was a slight disappointment in an otherwise fantastic spread.
To complement our flavorful feast, we wisely paired our dishes with cold, refreshing beers, enhancing the overall dining experience.
In summary, our experience at Long Beach Cafe was overwhelmingly positive. The authentic, down-to-earth atmosphere combined with a rich tapestry of local flavors made it a memorable dining adventure. While the lamb teppanyaki didn't quite meet our expectations, it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic meal. If you're seeking a genuine taste of the local cuisine served by friendly locals, Long Beach Cafe is a must-visit. We left with satisfied palates and the intention to return for more of their...
Read moreLarge venue and whilst it seems super chaotic at the first look, it's a pretty organised food court.
The venue is fairly clean and has decent airflow from all the fans. Each table has a table number and a lot of stalls will give you a buzzer to collect your food when it is ready. Others will deliver it to your table once prepared. Both take payment after food arrives, instead of at the point of order.
We tried the satay that is near the entrance. It had a 20 min wait as it is quite popular. 10pc ayam satay for 16myr. The sticks were meaty with minimal fat and tasty. On another night we got some more for take away, still good but a long wait.
2x small Char kuey teow for 18myr from the stall on the right next to the oyster stall. These were good, the prawns were fresh and meaty.
Oyster omelette from the stall next door, I think 9myr. Acceptable apparently but not many oysters.
Hor fun, again decent but nothing amazing.
The ayam mee goreng from the stall next to the satay one, this was decent.
For drinks, Barley tea panas, Milo ais and fresh coconut were fine, coconut is very fresh.
Not the largest food court but a decent selection. Our first meal for 3 ppl cost 71myr. You can prob get away with a basic meal for about 10myr to 18myr if your want to stick to a...
