Our friends recommended for us to try some local Penang’s street food at this Macalister Signature Food Court in Georgetown. There’s a great variety of hawker’s delight here like Fried Oyster Omelette, Char Koay Teow, Nasi Lemak, Wanton Mee, Porridge/ Congee, Lam Mee, Bak Kut Teh, Hokkien Mee, Curry Mee, Fried Chicken, Braised Pork Rice, Loh Mee, Braised Chicken Chop Rice etc and many different types of drinks are available. We managed to try some food here and everything we ordered tasted delicious. We also went to check out the Oriental Economy Rice shop next door for some take away food as they have a wide selection of home cooked style dishes at affordable prices. This food court allows the economy rice patrons to dine here and that’s very considerate of them!

Can get a variety of hawkers' delight from here - Hokkien Mee, Curry Mee, Wan Tan Mee, Char Koay Teow etc. Will visit more & share photos of each delicacy... (3Jun2024) Hokkien Mee is excellent 😋 Recommended to try if you particularly like prawn based soup. The best thing was, this Kopitiam allows patrons from next door economy rice's (Oriental Economy Rice) stall to dine in. This is one of the best economy rice stall that served a wide variety of delicious & affordable dishes during lunch hour. (23Dec2024) Fried Chicken stall no longer open.
