We stumbled upon "No Bar Here" while walking down the street, and what a find it was! The moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the enchanting ambiance and stunning interiors.

The 3D-printed vinyl coasters and the hand-written menu booklets featuring iconic movies like Ghostbusters, Top Gun, and Back to the Future added an extra touch of charm.

Our drink choices included "Like a Prayer", “Gold Rush”, “Megumi Highball”, and the incredibly delicious "Miami Vibe" cocktail, which has easily become my new favorite.

While the prices might be a tad higher, the meticulous attention to detail makes it entirely worthwhile. I was impressed to learn that they've even invested in an espresso and sous vide machine for crafting their cocktail mixes.

Needless to say, we'll be making a return visit to "No Bar Here" very soon. The experience was exceptional and left us eager for more.

I was pleasantly surprised when I returned today, and the female bartender recognized me right away. I ordered my usual set of cocktails, but this time I requested my Miami Vibe with only the coconut part, and they absolutely nailed it! The level of service and the quality of their drinks consistently impress me. It's no wonder this has become my number one cocktails bar in Penang. Cheers to the amazing team at "No Bar...

Rude bartender ruined our night — Zero respect for customers

We visited No Bar Here on 16/8/2025 and had one of the worst service experiences ever.

We were assigned seats in the bartender area, so naturally we sat down to enjoy our drinks. Shockingly, the bar uses the same area for placing order chits and drinks. Then a bartender came over (The bartender as the picture) and, in an extremely rude and unpleasant tone, told us we were “not supposed” to put our things there.

When my friend politely pointed out that if the seats cannot be used, why assign them to us in the first place, his only response was a black face with no real apology.

This is unacceptable. We paid above-average prices to have a good time here, not to be disrespected by bar tender. A bartender represents the face of the bar — and if this is how customers are treated, it reflects terribly on your image.

We left feeling angry and insulted. It ruined our night. No paying customer deserves to be treated...

I have to say, it was an experience that worth repeating. The ambience is relaxed yet stylish—perfect for winding down after a long day or enjoying a quiet night out. The lighting is soft, with just the right balance of cozy and sophisticated, creating an inviting atmosphere that doesn't feel over-the-top.

The standout here, though, is the bartender, Roland. Not only is he personable, but he really knows his craft. You can tell he takes the art of mixology seriously—each drink is thoughtfully prepared, with an attention to detail that elevates the entire experience.

The rest of the crew is equally friendly and attentive, making sure you’re well taken care of without being intrusive. The service is top-notch, and it’s clear they all work well together to create a welcoming vibe.

Overall, my partner and I had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a chill spot to relax, this place checks all the boxes. Highly...
