My set lunch 19.90 ringgit comes with drink + (dessert sago is not my liking ).love my sotong Kam heong if u are lover of squid like me ) Glad I chose a nice Penang rest for my lunch .well cooked and delicious 4/5 overall rating for me including mango side appetiser +cracker+sambal and another small condiment side ...well worth what I paid as compare to Singapore but only negative side ..I am not allow to seat anywhere I like despite of nobody in the rest and is past 140 pm ...lots of rest play the habit of choosing the lesser seat or customer may prefer long bench cushion seat ....hope the owner of any rest (will allow customer chose of seating in the near future .for hood customer service although IS EMPTY .if the customer coming in groups and there is reserve Signage than customer should be allowed to seat anywhere they chose ...if the rest is one quarter or not full at all .....that is the only my only displeasure ...all are points are good -food cleanliness and cook is excellent in the dish he cook for me ...only my chosen place I like to seat ...give a bad rating for this rest favouring the customer is more impt and the first pleasure of welcoming or unless rest is always crowded single customer like me will give up or make even changes to accommodate the rest ...CUSTOMERS got feeling and I am in the hospitality pr customer relationship officer position long time ago .....so owner sutera please tell u rest manager or captains or supervisor to allow FIRST GOOD IMPRESSION ....

Give my thanks to delicious food cooked by the cook .trying to put the video or pic inside but I gave...

I have mixed feelings about this place.

Very limited menu, so kinda tough when you're with a big group of people with a range of tastes, but it makes up with the quality of the food, portion size and presentation. This is not really the kind of place to feed a picky and hungry family especially with kids, it's more for foodies who want to sit down and experience local fusion cuisine.

Pricewise it's easily RM30-50+ per pax. Personally I can understand the price point with what they're serving. But will likely be a once or twice affair for me, mostly because of the next point:

I think it was unfortunate that the day I was there I was seated upstairs where there was no aircond (it was very warm) and the music was so loud, we couldn't have a conversation properly. Maybe limit to mellow music without vocals, and invest in a better sound system? The upper floor space is definitely not as cozy as downstairs as it's not done up as nicely, and bench seats are generally uncomfortable after a while.

Overall, I'd give my experience 4/5. I'd give it 5/5 stars if I was seated downstairs maybe, for the price point I'd expect pretty good ambiance to go with...

This establishment presents a splendid venue for an evening meal. The ambiance is enhanced by a tastefully decorated interior that exudes elegance. The gastronomic offerings were delightful, and the service staff exhibited exceptional professionalism and warmth.

I opted for the Dry Chilli Chicken accompanied by rice, a dish that tantalized the taste buds with its fiery zest, balanced harmoniously by the sweet undertones of mango chutney. My spouse chose the Masak Lemak Cili Api, which she found to be utterly delectable. Additionally, the Spaghetti Meatballs we ordered were cooked to perfection, showcasing a delightful blend of flavors.

A minor caveat to note is the limited parking availability, a common scenario on Penang Island. Alternative parking may necessitate a brief walk to the restaurant.

Despite this, the restaurant stands out as a sterling choice for a fine dining experience, promising both culinary satisfaction and a...

I don’t know who reviews these places lol but let’s get real. My husband and I took a grab and did 37 minutes to come to this place because of its ratings. The two most reviewed dishes are the buttermilk chicken and steamed sea bass so we took that along a Mac&cheese to share. The buttermilk chicken is so salty. My God. And believe me I’m Lebanese so I love my salt but that was too much. I rate it a 3/10. The steamed sea bass was decent. 5/10. The Mac& cheese literally took two bites. The sauce tastes nothing but onions. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend nor come again. There’s so much better food around in Penang. As you can see nothing on the plates is finished and usually we hate wasting food. Update : as I can’t answer the comment of the restaurant, yes I did ask for salt as I said I love my salt but for the Mac&cheese that I ended up taking one bite of and leaving it. I didn’t add any salt to the chicken. As you guys made it very salty.
