Regarding Poor Service at Coffee Bean Karpal Singh, Penang
Dear Coffee Bean Customer Service,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the poor service I experienced at your Coffee Bean outlet in Karpal Singh, Penangon I am a regular customer who visits this outlet almost every week, but unfortunately, during my recent visit at around 10:20 PM, I was extremely disappointed by the attitude and service of one of your staff members named "Amirul"
When I arrived, there were only two staff members working and the store was not busy. I stood at the counter for about 5 to 10 minutes, waiting to place my order. Despite clearly seeing me and my friend, your staff Amirul completely ignored us. I called out to him politely several times (at least three times), but he still chose to ignore me, acting as if I was not there.
He appeared arrogant, with no greeting, no smile, and no effort to acknowledge us as customers. Instead, he walked around slowly, pretending to be busy while his colleague was the only one actively preparing drinks.
When I finally raised my voice and asked again if we could place our order, he reluctantly responded with a very rude, unfriendly, and unwilling attitude. His facial expression and tone were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
After we managed to place our order, it took only about 5 to 10 minutes for the drinks to be ready ā which shows that the store was indeed not busy at the time. There was absolutely no reason for him to make customers wait so long before even taking our order.
This kind of service is completely unacceptable for a brand like Coffee Bean. Customers should at least be acknowledged with a simple greeting or be informed if they need to wait, instead of being ignored and treated with such arrogance.
I truly hope Coffee Bean will look into this matter seriously, provide proper training to this staff member, and ensure that such unpleasant experiences do not happen again to your loyal customers.

I ordered Chicken Popcorn Bites, but they were soggy and had very little sauce. It seemed like they were not refried before being served to the customer.
Furthermore, when the drink or food is prepared, the staff is supposed to call out the customer's name or inform them that their order is ready. However, this staff member simply prepared the order and stayed silent until I approached her to ask if it was ready. When I asked, she replied "Dah, ini!"
I also claimed the free drink as part of the welcome treat, but the staff displayed an unpleasant attitude while serving me. If the purpose of the welcome treat is to provide a free drink, why was the service so unwelcoming?
Additionally, the Iced Caramel Macchiato I received tasted like a regular Iced Latte. Isnāt it supposed to have caramel sauce? There was no hint of caramel flavor in the drink.
