Visited Ah Ma Teochew Kuih at Eko Branch. Very dissapointed with the way the employee handled my order. We dined at the cafe and after our lunch, we intend to buy some takeaway kuih. After settled our billed, we went to take away counter to order thousands layer kuih. We have requested to have two flavor mixed instead of just one flavor. The employee went to check with the dining counter which we follow. After approaching the dining counter, they suggested to approached take away counter. So, we oblige and approach the takeaway counter again. The employee was seems to be unable to take our request and mumble among themselves. As during dining, we left with 1 piece of tapioca kuih and requested a plastic to takeaway as well. Again employee said, we have to approached dining counter. The whole situation wasn't been handled profesionally as seems like everyone only doing based on their counter responsibility. When ask the staff, they said it is the boss instruction to have such arrangement of handling dining and takeaway orders.
I think the owner needs to understand to educate the staff how to handle customers who dine and do take away. Customer would not want to know how you handle the operation, as both takeaway and dining is under one roof, presuming internally should be able to assist the cuatomers instead of pushing customers here and there. Worst, the takeaway cashier has no smile at all from the start we patronize the shop till we left.
It is a one time visit for me, i won't recommend to any customers out there unless the service...
Read moreI ordered a lemon tea with no sugar and then we order another one. I told the server specifically that I want a lemon tea very similar to the one that I've ordered. They gave us lemon tea with sugar. My mother is diabetic and so we asked for a replacement. They said no replacement. I was a bit surprised as I specifically said I want a similar lemon tea drink. They said 'No'; however, i can buy another one but no replacement. I spent around more than 180 myr for 6 of us and they couldn't even give us a replacement. They said that the boss doesn't allow any replacement. It's really bad customer service and it doesn't cost much to replace a lemon tea. Also, my wife went to the restroom to wash her hand. She saw one of the employees washing her hand without soap. It's really disgusting. If she handles food, it's a very not hygienic. Anyway, she just lost a customer and I will tell my friends who live in...
