Reviewing both the Japanese Food Stall + Nasi Lemak Stall in this Qing Feng Huat Kopitiam.
1 Box of Assorted Faux Sushi = RM13.00 Ala-Carte 1 Ayam Goreng Kunyit Drummy (Turmeric Fried Chicken) = RM5.00
Sushi is a very unusual Food Item to be found in a Kopitiam setting. The Actual Stall is actually a Faux Japanese Food Stall, and these were sold laying in a Freezer Box. I am slightly amused that they're so Faux, they actually misspelled "Original" in their Stall Banner.
Jokes aside, obviously if you are a Sushi Connoisseur, you will turn up your nose at these so-called "Sushis". Taste is exactly like one of those Value Pack Faux Sushi Boxes you can find in a Supermarket, which I suppose that's what they are. Taste-wise, there is really no need for me to describe further tbh.
As for the Ayam Goreng Kunyit Drummy, it was from this Nasi Lemak Stall called "饭爷". At this point of my Food Journey, I had already eaten quite alot, so I really wasn't keen to eat more Rice.
The Drummys looked really delicious though, so I gave it a try. Slightly disappointed that its not Super Piping Hot, yet its also not Cold, just Room Temperature. But the Turmeric Spiced Taste is very Strong, so I suppose this would taste very nice if Fresh and Hot.
Overall, nothing really special for both the Faux Sushis and Drummy. Eat it just for the novelty of being able to eat Faux Sushis in a Kopitiam Setting I guess?
Sorry I know i'm not being fair to 饭爷 Nasi Lemak for judging it based on just their Drummy. I promise I will get around to actually reviewing their Nasi Lemak in the future. The Stall Owner is a really Friendly Lady though.

Read moreCame to this place as I wanted to try local food for dinner and I’m glad I did. Ordered a char kway teow Penang style and a pork noodle.
The char kway teow is definitely underrated, how does it not have its own point on google maps is baffling. It’s not as good as the greatest in Penang but honestly it’s in the mix with some char kway teow in Penang.
The pork noodle is also great, typical Malaysian style cooking that we all adore. Great value.
Service is also great, they ask you what you want to drink the moment you sit down, to me that’s efficient. They clear the plates the moment you leave too. Furthermore the place is well ventilated and there are lots of stalls to choose from so you’ll be spoiled for choice. Will definitely visit again if I want...
Read more2nd time I came to this eatery. I missed the RM4 chicken rice previously, so this time I came for it, LOL. For that price, I would order again, no doubt. Great value for the taste. Had tried previously the Nasi Lemak, very fragrant. The huge drumsticks are price at RM6 per piece. Saw many return customers buying. If you are here before 3pm, don't miss out the assortment of goreng Pisang, durian, yam, etc. Fried kway teow, braise duck, etc, there's many food to choose from at a very reasonable price. Their coffee and tea too are worth drinking, not like some watered down version. Overall, this restaurant serves up good local and affordable food. Thank you for giving me a selection....
