When I stepped into this quaint teahouse, I felt like I had entered a serene time tunnel into a Chinese teahouse of older days. The ambiance exuded tranquility and relaxation, as if time itself had slowed down within those walls. Soft, soothing music floated through the air, adding a gentle rhythm to the entire space.
Seated at a wooden table, I almost felt out of place surrounded by traditional-looking furniture and tableware—wooden trays, clay teapots and cups, if not for the patient staff who explained how a first-timer might enjoy their wide selection and centerpiece grill (an uncommon sight for me).
On the walls hung paintings or calligraphy of similar themes, with the centerpiece of each table a grill; an open invitation for patrons to linger with warm teas and fragrance of roasted light snacks brought me back again with other friends.
The rich, velvety roasted osmanthus oolong (da hong pao) milk tea felt like a warm, soothing embrace. My second visit led me to try their chilled champagne tea (no actual alcohol), which made for a light taste and bubbly refreshing turn after the dense milk tea. Coupled with roasting sweet potatoes and dried fish fillets to interspace sweet snacks—an overall delightful and pampering treat. While the ochazuke didn’t leave a lasting impression, the cold noodle salad was refreshingly appetizing.
Overall, the teahouse’s ambiance, music, and delectable snacks made for a delightful afternoon. If you seek a peaceful and cozy tea experience, this teahouse is definitely worth a visit! 🍵
For to go, the Phoenix Oolong Light Milk Tea and White Peach Oolong Light Milk Tea were beauties to my buds, while the Gardenia may feel overly aromatic.
PS: There seems to be an interesting option of trying on 'hanfu', olden Chinese clothing and accessories, there were several groups doing so on my 2nd visit to complete the time...

Read moreA very cozy and unique Chinese tea house! 🍵 The ambience is calm and welcoming, a great spot to slow down and enjoy good tea with snacks. The tea is brewed perfectly smooth, fragrant, and beautifully presented in a traditional style.
What makes this place special is the experience. We ordered the tea set package (RM69) which came with tea, 4 BBQ side snacks, 4 regular side snacks, and 2 mungbean cakes. The BBQ side snacks were fun to grill at the table, adding a warm and interactive touch to the tea session. The variety of sides paired really well with the tea, making it both filling and enjoyable.
We also tried the Chinese pastry set (RM39). 4 beautifully made pastries with different flavors. Each pastry was fresh, not too sweet, and a nice complement to the tea.
Service was friendly and attentive, with the staff happy to explain the tea choices and setup. Prices are fair considering the quality and the overall experience.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different from the usual café outing. this is not just a tea session, but a cultural experience with a modern twist. Will definitely come...
